Description

Introducing the new and improved Powder Hound Hat, featuring five panels, a mesh back, a snapback closure and a 100% American-made supply chain. The patch features the Duckworth logo and signature sheep.

Our Montana baseball caps were previously made in Bangladesh. At the time, we weren't aware of any high-quality American hat manufacturers, so we went with what was available: We partnered with a USA-based company that outsourced production. There's no doubt about it, that was our bad, and we pulled those hats from the shop in early 2022 after hearing customer feedback. Well, after searching high and low, we discovered a fully USA-made hat manufacturer crafting high-quality ball caps. Try them out and show off your American-made pride!

"Very lightweight and attractive hat! Get compliments on all my Duckworth hats and I have a few to say the least. I do love the non-mesh backs the best for some reason. They all fit great and so light they do not give me a headache wearing all day. Great for hiking and camping. They will get a sweat ring if you go too hard in one. I also have a vapor beanie I wear under and loosen the cap if hiking long days. You’ll love these hats, we do!!"

Runs large, not cute

"This hate is huge and unflattering. I have a 22" head circumference. Which I thought was kind of large for a female, but this hat looks giant on me and I've nearly maxed out the snaps to shorten it. Might be best for men with a broad head and face, like the male model on the website. The female is turned to the side. I wonder if it looks huge on her too if she were forward facing. Other than being made in the US, I'm not to impressed by it."

Q&A

How about a merino wool and mesh hat and a solid merino wool 5 panel cap ? I have a few from Legend that are amazing for cold and damp weather for ski touring and general outdoor use.

What material is the hat made with?
It is made out of a poly cotton twill with mesh
How about a solid non-mesh cap for us bald guys?
